BIKE TRAILS – Mesabi Bike Trail
With the trail head in Grand Rapids, the Mesabi Trail passes through 25 communities on its 132 mile journey to Ely. The Mesabi Trail is the premier bike trail in Minnesota with its rugged landscape resulting from generations of iron ore mining. Each of the communities along the trail offer their own unique treasures including restaurants to refuel and many historical and natural landmarks to soak in.
